I'm not a plumber, but I've been around it for a long time. :) Maybe the water heater is churning up sediment inside the tank. It can happen each time the burner cycles on and off.


: Over the last month, we have heard a loud vibrating noise in separate parts of our 18 year old townhouse. There is no apparent cause, we were not running water at all (no dishwasher, no bath or toilette. Can anyone suggest where we should start looking for a cause to this? It has happened atleast 3 or 4 times over the past month. Now I am alittle concerned because one of our neighbors pipes just burst. Any suggestions?
