|In response to Re: Mysterious Sulfer smell at only one sink|
: Hello - I've checked a number of back "issues" here and haven't found a problem like mine - I didn't check them all, so I'm sorry if I'm being repetitive.
: Within the past two months we have started having trouble with an overwhelming sulfer smell at ONLY the kitchen sink. It happens with both the hot and cold water, but is worse with the cold water, so I don't think it is related to the water heater. After the water runs for about 30 seconds, the smell abates but is back if we don't use the faucet for 15 minutes or so. The smell doesn't happen at any other faucet in the house.
: About a year ago I changed the faucet and supply pipes to the kitchen sink. The supply pipes are flexible plastic pipes and quite long. Is it possible that there is something in the plastic pipes that is causing this smell? Any other people with this problem?
