: My pipes vibrate 24-hours a day for almost a year now. They go on and off at about 10 second intervals, like Old Faithful. There is no leaking anything, nothing else to correlate it with. The viration sounds like a loud purr. PLEASE help - it is driving me crazy!

If you have a "pressure reducer" it may need repair or replacing. Sometimes, move the adjustment up and down dislodges whatever is causing problems with the diaphrm.
Then again, it could be a leaking flapper on a toilet, that is causing the fill valve to refill. The fill valve could be making the noise.
