Use a shop wet/dry vacuum. Since you are in an area that requires an increaser, the debris may just be in the increaser. However that will not help your slow sink, unless there is some other problem with the plumbing that the sink drain connects to.

: Our house was built in the 40s. We replaced almost all the DWV piping, but now have a slow kitchen sink. Up on the roof, I've noticed the old vent is full of muck, leaves, and seems solid. How do I clear the vent, which I think would resolve the slow kitchen drain it's connected to. The vent must run up and across then up to the roof. I can see the expansion pipe from in the attic going through the roof. Can I clear the clog myself without abandoning the vent line and hiring a plumber to tear out my walls to install a new vent? I'm on septic and don't want to use too many chemicals. Do they make giant augers?? Please advise!
