Bathtub Insulation

My Porcelain of Steel bathtub has been removed so the bathroom can be remodeled. To help eliminate the noise from the adjoining rooms I am insulating the walls with R13 insulation. Also, I would like to wrap the tub in insulation before it is reinstalled; However I am unsure if this will cause a problem. Will wrapping the tub in insulation cause moisture to penetrate the insulation rendering is useless? Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
