No, you just have to be able to prove that the water was turned on originally 12/13 years ago for a conventional house's inside piping, and 10/11 years for the outside service pipe or a mobile home. There are many ways to do this, one of them being the date the water service was activated to the property. : I HAVE HAD THE POLY BULENE PIPE IN MY HOUSE FOR OVER 10 YEARS - THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE HAD WATER LEAKS - THAT I AM FIXING TO REPAIR. IS IT TRUE YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE DATE STAMPED ON THE DEFECTED PIPE TO RECEIVE AND CONPENSATION? : OR CAN YOU TELL ME WHO TO CONTACT ABOUT THIS? : THANKS
