Remodel shower stalls

Can you offer any pros and cons regarding remodel shower stalls? I'm considering a Lasco Neo-Angle and a Sterling (Kohler) Neo-Angle. Both come in sections, but the Sterling has 3 shelves with a seam down the left side, while the Lasco has only 1 shelve and the seam at the floor pan. Does one offer a superior reputation or construction, or do you recommend any other manufacturers? Also, the Lasco recommends putting some mortar under the pan while the Sterling doesn't.
