|In response to Re: Back up in toilets and tubs|
Your sewer/drain is plugged up. The constuction would only be a factor if the whole neighborhood had the same problem.
: I was washing a load of clothes tonight and when I went to put them in the dryer, I noticed an awful smell coming from the bathroom. The toilet was overflowing and the floor covered in black-ish water with black stuff floating in it, as well as toilet tissue. It stinks! The shower in that bathroom as filled with it as well, and when I checked the other two bathrooms both the tubs and toilets in each was full of the same liquid. What is it? THe toilets eventually drained so there's nothing in them, but when we try to flush, they fill back up with the same stuff. I am supposed to leave town for several days in the morning, but I was hoping someone here would have an answer as to what this is? Is it sewage? There is trolley construction going on down the road, and I don't know if it is coincidence or not, but we've been having drainage problems since it started. Please help!
