|In response to Re: Underground TracPipe Installation|
Why are you asking? If the building inspector said it has to be sleeved in your area, it is not negotiable, even if it is permitted to be unsleeved elsewhere.
: I am having an underground propane line installed to my house. The installer had originally given me a quote for a sleeved copper line, but then put in TracPipe instead. The building inspector did not allow this and said the TracPipe must be sleeved as well. Can anyone tell me if TracPipe can be buried and if so, must it have a sleeve around it? Also, is sleeved copper a better choice for this application in the first place?
: Thanks for your help.
