|In response to Re: Anyone have a tankless (on-demand) water heater?|
What happens depends of the water heater. If it has a flow control to allow the heater to maintain the temperature, then the flow from both showers will be reduced when the second one is turned on. If it does not have the control then the hot water temperature will drop to the level that the heater can maintain at that flow rate.
: I am interested in tankless water heaters... can anyone back up manufacturer claims of being able to run two showers at once? If not, what happens? Cold water? No water?
: Any ideas on energy costs for gas? electric?
: Not a lot of information out there besides sales pitch.
