![]() : We are considering buying a 70 year old home. Our inspector discovered that the main water line from the street to the house is galvanized (all the lines in the house have been replace with copper). He gave us the impression that it could break tomorrow (or it could last another 20 years). It seems to me that it shouldn't be much of a problem because right now the water pressure in the house is too high (100 psi). So how serious an issue is this?
