: I have a jacuzzi bathtub and the pressure coming out of the jets has diminished to about 1/2 the normal pressure over time.

: I've tried everything short of disassembling the pump and checking out the impeller. All the piping seems to be clear when I stick a hose into them and turn the water on.

: When the pump is working, if I block three of the six jets, the pressure still does not seem to get back up to the normal pressure.

: So I expect that I have to unbolt the pump from the vibration mounting, unbolt the impeller housing, twist the two large pipe unions off, and separate the pump to impeller part of the motor.

: Any comments?

Have you opened up the "air" inlets?
It always seems more forcefull to me when the air is mixing with the water. Terry
