If you can locate the septic tank below the level of the basement, then you could use a "normal" system. If you have to pump, then pay extra attention to where and how it is installed so that it will not be too big of a deal to repair/replace it later. I think this is something called, "Planning"? Not too familiar with the process myself, but I've heard it works pretty well.
