Definitely. If water overfills the sink to that level, or just splashes into the groove, it will leak into the cabinets. This is assuming that he did not use a sealant that you cannot see. : I just got a countertop installed with an undermount sink however the installer/ fabricator did not silicone under the counter where it meets the sink. Is this standard or should I call him back to do it?
