The toilet drops six gallons of water into the sewer quickly, but there are tree roots in the sewer. When four of the six gallons rush down and hit the roots and stop, the other two gallons back up and gurgle and cause odor in the sink. Call a LICENSED roto snake plumber and pay to snake the line all the way to the sewer main in the street.

: Bathroom sink gurgles when toilet is flushed...also foul odor when toilet is flushed.
