|In response to Re: Water spraying when outdoor faucet is turned off|
It could be your hose. If the pressure can make the hose expand, then when it is turned off the hose contracting will cause it to backflush and the safety unit on the faucet will allow the water to escape rather than create what it thinks could be an unsafe condition.
: When I have an outdoor faucet with a garden hose connected to it. When I turn the water off, water will spray out of the area where the garden hose is connected to the faucet. The spray is so heavy you have to run or I get drenched. I've installed a pressure release value on the faucet but am still having the same problem. Any suggestions?
