Water taste

Within the past two weeks we have noticed that the water coming out of the kitchen sink has a noticable 'bad taste'. It is almost like an iodine taste and only seems to be at the kitchen sink. The kitchen sink has a Dishmaster attached. Where do I start to resolve this problem? Thanks, Jim Gately
