P.S. The U.S. Gypsum manual is here: http://usg.com/Expert_Advice/3_3_const_handbook.asp The bottom line is, yes, you can create smooth junctions between Durock and drywall. You must first seal the Durock with tile-setting mastic, then tape with a setting-type drywall mud. Read the Fine Manual, and do exactly as it says. |
