hi, I�m an engineer working in PEX pipe field, general speaking all PEX pipes should installed a way from direct sunlight or UV sources, since its service life can be reduced significantly. However, there is some types with UV stabilizers that can withstand outdoor sun but for limited life period, maybe 5 years. Those types have the Black color.

: I'm wondering if a PEX pipe is made that is UV tolerant and can be used outdoors. Also, I have a few pieces currently exposed to sunlight. Can these be painted to protect them from sunlight, or should I just wrap them? Any suggestions?
