|In response to Re: Water level in toilet bowl|
: Hi, I recently replaced the fill valve in the toilet and now the water level in the bowl is very low. It makes rinsiing out dirty diapers a real chore as there is very little water to rinse in. It flushes well but does not appear to refill to the same level as it did before I put the new valve in...What controls this level. Did I change something without be aware of it? Thanks
It all depends on what model fill valve you installed. there is an 1/8" plastic tube on most fill valves that slips down inside the over flow tube. this regulates the water in the bowl.
