The underneath part may be the easy portion. The vent from the sink up can sometimes be more of a problem, but since it is a major remodel anyway, it should just involve a bit more drywall patching. The important thing is that the sink be in a place that is most useful in the kitchen. Once you establish that, the cost of moving the sink becomes a minor consideration. : We're considering remodeling our kitchen : the plan calls for moving it about 8 feet away from where it now is. The architect says it won't be a problem to move plumbing, etc. b/c we the foundation is pier & beam so we have a basement (sortof) but my husband is having a fit & thinks it will be a major issue to move the sink. So, what WOULD it entail, and what kind of cost (just the plumbing part) might it entail?
