You are not describing the installation in a way that we can decide. The tub drain will normally be at the side wall, about 15" from the back wall. The toilet has to be at least 12" from the back wall and 15" from any object, (tub, wall, or cabinet), on either side.

: Hello,
: I am finishing my basement. I have donw framing. The rough-ins are already there, only question is, how far away the tub and toilet rough-ins should be from inside of frame? Do they (tub and toilet rough-ins) must be in a line? My tub rough-in is about 20 inches away from farme, while my toilet rough-in is about 9 inches away, is that a problem? I am bit confused. I was just planning to leave 60 inches from my frame to install my bathroom frame, is that ok?
: Thanks
