I'm installing a tub and shower surround, attaching the shower walls directly to the studs. Other than for a noise factor, should I insulate the walls? And if so, should the vapor-barrier be on the tub wall side?

Also, what about placing insulation around the tub itself ... and again vapor-barrier (if one needed) should be against the tub ... right?
