As long as you do not mind having it sit 2" farther out into the room and having 2" more space behind it, you can replace it with anything you want to.
: I need to replace an old toilet that is 14 inches from the wall to the bolts. Can it be replaced with a 12 inch or does it have to be a 14 inch?
