Is there a need to use a manifold arrangement with a PEX repipe? In theory, it appears to be an excellent arrangement which provides equal water pressure to all faucets. However, is it really necessary and widely used?
I have been planning under the premise that a repipe using PEX involves simply replacing the old copper system with the newer PEX piping.
