Unless you have a lot of time or money, and/or the disposal is a very expensive one it is not worth repairing. By the time that happens the cutting plates are usually worn out also. : My garbage disposal has starting leaking at the bottom, where the reset button is. Is there a seal that I need to replace? If so, do I simply take the disposal apart? Is it time to just get a new disposal? The one i've got is probably around 8 years old. : Thanks. : David
