: Hello, I recently purchased a new washer and dryer and when the washer hits the rinse cycle its sends water back up through my kitchen sink. The sink fills up half way and then slowly drains. Any ideas? I've tried a few drain cleaners but nothing seems to work.

I'd say your drain line is too small for the volume of water. If you have access to the line where the washer empties, install a backflow valve. This is a one way valve and will pervent water from going back to the sink. If the line is plugged, your might get overflow at the washer, so I'd snake the line first.
