I plan to tap into the house water line (cpvc) and run water to my detached garage. It is located 160 feet from the house. Since I will be putting separate conduit in the ground for electric, telephone, etc. I will be putting conduit in the ground also for the water line to protect it. To keep the water pressure up, what type of pipe, line, cpvc, etc. should I use? I didn't know if there was some type of single line that I could run instead of glueing cpvc pieces together. To prevent freezing I will excavate down at least 3 feet as the frost line here in Maryland is around 30 inches. Thanks in advance. Stanley |
