|In response to Re: Delta diverter valve|
You may not have replaced it properly or there could still be a piece of the old one in the valve. If it is done properly it shuts off all or most of the water to the spout and sends all the water to the shower head.
: I just replaced a diverter valve in a Delta single handle tub/shower faucet. Surprisingly, this did not increase the water flow to the shower head. There is still a stong stream of water coming out of the lower spout. The old one was broker in half, but still provided about the same ratio of H2O between the two outlets. Any advice? Thanks for this site -- great idea!
