What is the reason you installed this new toilet? Did the old one flush? Toilets are simple gravity flush devices. If the tank fills with water and has water above the flush valve stopper, it will flush when the handle is tripped; unless the handle pull chain lever isn't connected to the stopper, ot the tank hasn't filled with water.
: I installed a new toilet and when I go to flush it the water will not go down. There is no obstruction in the sewer pipe. I also used an auger just to make sure there was no obstruction in the toilet,there wasn't. I can't figure it out.
