I have a Briggs toilet. Recently I used a wire snake to clear a clog. In doing so I marked the porcelain. I tried cleanser and steel wool to remove the scratches. All I succeeded in doing was to make it worse. Any ideas on how I can restore the finish and what should I have done originally to avoid scratching the surface. Thanks!!
