|In response to Re: Bathroom Sink|
Licensed plumbers know how to get the gaskets, and when they cannot, but need to replace gaskets in bad shape, LICENSED plumbers know how to build new ones from gasket material.
: Our house was built in 1940. It has a Crane/Drexel bathroom sink. It is unusual in that the water spigot is part of the porcelain sink. At this point, it leaks like a seive. I've tried replacing the washers in both faucets but that doesn't even slow the flow. I've removed both faucet fixtures. The gaskets are in bad shape. Hardware stores and plumbers tell me that the faucets are no longer made and cannot be replaced. Do you have any ideas?
