: I have a Bradford White hotwater heater and it is about 7 years old -it has 2 elements and the top one did not cut off last night(Got very hot!!) -so i checked the bottom one and it was cool -So i figured that the bottom element was bad and changed it today and had the same prob. so i changed both thermostats today and still the top one comes on,but now it cuts off like normal but I am not getting any heat off the bottom element still !! and it is the element that Ichanged. Is that normal?? I just assumed that they both ran at the same time -If not please advise!!
