I live in the area where main sewer is not very reliable and during rains often overflows.
Recently I had sewer backup into my house.
I have flood control system outside the house that includes two-gate valve and sewage pump. That valve obviously failed. Now I have to choose between overhead sewer and fixing the flood control.
I was told that overhead sewer in the house will resolve any backup problems. Is that so?
Fixing flood control will cost much less but is it as reliable as overhead sewer?
Thanks for help.
