I am replacing a wax ring on a toilet. Originally the flange was about 3/8" below the floor. I've done repairs to the floor but now the flange is only about 1/16" above the floor. I cannot find a flange spacer that has holes which line up with the old flange (which is made of pvc but about 22 yrs. old). My question is with a 1/16th of an inch above the floor flange, do I need to use a spacer? I'm already about 5/16" better off than when I started. thanks for your help. Mark |
