|In response to Re: Airgap Overflow|
: I have an 2 yr. old GE Dishwasher that recently began to have water overflow from the airgap on the top edge of the sink during any cycle requiring drainage. Underneath the sink, the airgap hose goes from the dishwasher to a "Y" connector. Water goes up the hose to the airgap tube, then down another tube to the Y and into the disposal. Water freely flows into the disposal. I've checked for stoppage in the airgap tube, all drainage hoses, the disposal and the sink drains, all are cleare. I replaced the air gap and have the same problem. Why is the water coming out the airgap and flooding onto the counter top? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
