|In response to Re: moen faucet problem|
I suppose it was bought at a home improvement store. If so, there is a good chance it is defective and needs to be exchanged for a good one.
: I have a new Moen 7730 single handle gooseneck montilcello faucet. The problem I have is that the spout continues to drip after installation. Moen has been helpful. They sent a replacement cartridge and this did not work. They sent replacement handle parts and this did not work.
: I had a friend come by with lots of experience and he pulled off the handle and used his pliers to raise and lower the cartridge. You can push the cartridge all the way down (bottomed out) and the faucet continues to drip slowly. He thinks that there is a problem (defect) with the valve body. Any thoughts for clueless in Texas?
