I have a Symmons diverter valve in my bathtub/shower. I am puttting new fiberglass walls in the tub and now the diverter valve mechanism does not reach the diverter valve because the new walls are further from the valve. Short of having my plumber (yes we are on VERY friendly terms - he is MY plumber) move the diverter valve forward an inch or two, is there another solution to this dilemma? Is there such a thing as a longer diverter valve mechanism or something?
