My plumber mentioned something similar to KrakStick that does not require heating. But he said the Secureall tar stick was the best stuff he ever used to fix cast iron because once the pipe is heated the stuff melts into the cracks/holes. My guess is the stuff has not been around for many years now. : It is called KrakStick and is used as is, not heated. It is not available everywhere, but some plumbing stores still have it.
