I'm not an expert on the particular brand of shower floor you cite, but I know about them in general. Replacing it entails tearing out the tile above it and, of course the plumbing work.
If it's cracked, the builder is liable to replace it. A new house is a new house (within reason).
I think you are within reason. Have them do the job right, and with a product that will hold up at least throughout the warranty period.
