You should go to your building department to see what material is allowed in your area. Different areas have different codes for sizing etc. As for licenses, you don't need any to work on your own house where I come from; including gas, electric and plumbing. : Want to extend my natural gas line from inside house to detached garage with and underground run. Isn't there a flexible nonmetalic material that can be used? And, where does one look for such material?
