Sometimes the nut loosens up, try tightening it. Another inexpensive approach is to buy some graphite wicking and wrap it around the stem on the underside of the nut. : I have 3 outside faucets protruding through my brick home. they all gush water out the screw in the center of the handle. it gets much worse it I try to use a garden hose with a sprayer.what is the best way to repair these faucets.or do they have to be replaced?
