: I am remodeling my bathroom and we have in the shower a base that is made of aggregate cement with flecks of black and gray. It is outdated and instead of breaking it out and re pouring a new cement base we wanted to do something to update it to a more neutral color of white or beige. Do you know of any product, or any other suggestions to help me this? Hi Deb, I think you have a terrazzo base, and although it might be possible to paint something over it, it won't hold up for long. You can try cleaning it with a little bleach, and then you might seal it with a finishing sealer. You would have to let it dry out completely. John |
