My supply valve from the wall that leads to the toilet tank has a bad washer (I'm assuming) and leaks of water. I have the original rubber water line that connects to the valve and up to the bottom of the toilet tank.
Better yet, I plan to get a brand new toilet anyway. Is it wise to install all the new toilet's parts, or should I replace the supply valve using a generic one and connect this to the new toilet part, or what's called the flush valve (?). Isn't the rubber water line connection to the tank and supply valve universal? Any advice??
