It can go anywhere it is comfortable for you. A basketball player might want the valve 48" above the floor so it could be adjusted while showering, while a bather would mount it at 30" and put the spout 6" above the tub rim. It depends on you and which will be the primary use of the tub.
: At what height off finish floor would the center of valve assembly be located? Also need the distance below for the spout nipple. As mentioned, this is a Lasco 2 piece tub/shower.
