: I had three older brothers in the Second World War, in the Pacific. A couple of them aren't with us any longer, but the one who is lives not too far from you -- in the Marysville area. His name is Bob Bridge, and he was on the battle ship Nevada, which was sunk along with others during the Pearl Harbor Attack.

I just saw the Pearl Harbor movie tonight.
That would have been a tough thing to go through.

I hope that future generations will remember the waste of life in that war and continue
to try to understand each other.

Whenever a person travels to distant places, you create new friendships.
