|In response to Re: Shower Drain|
If you do not trust the welded joint in a shower drain, then the joints in the rest of the system must have you terrified about a sudden shower of sewer water.
: I am installing a new shower on a concrete slab and have roughed in the 2" pvc line. My question is whether I should use a solvent welded pvc drain or a brass drain with rubber seals in this installation -- I'm not impressed with the rubber seals in the brass fitting, but I'm worried about the permanency of the solvent welded joint.
