if you are concerned about lead in your water, as you should be, just run your water for 30 seconds before using. This will remove most of the lead in your water, the lead leaches into the water while it is not in use and will be cleaner if it is run for a bit. Also a water filter is a great idea! Look for one that takes out contaminates down to .5 microns or less, such as a MultiPure filter.
