: : terry i live in a area with a high watter table I have noticed that when it rains heavy my basement toilet flushes verry slowly. Will a ejector pump help solve my problem? also will a ejector pump prevent watter from backing up into my basement through my septic tank? : If your waste system if gravity now, adding the pump will not help. For the pump to work, it needs a free flowing drain to dump into. If your drain is slowing down, Whoah! Don't add more water to it that quickly. Terry You need to install a raised mound system. That will get you above the water and does require a pump. Dale's Plumbing Service Inc LMP |
