We have a leaking shower and would like to replace the valves. I am having difficulty
removing the chrome shower handles (after removing the screws); they unscrew only to a
certain point. Do these handles generally
come off with brute force (counterclockwise), or are there some cases in which I would
need to open up the wall to access the assembly from behind? The hardware looks kind
of cheap (no brand names visisble). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
